The ending wasn't very subtle but by then, unlike the Doctor,
most of us probably didn't care whether those self-absorbed,

their boat... However, I think it's quite possible we haven't
seen the last of Ms Pepper-Bean.

The entire episode underlied that ending though. As you said all her
friends were white, in fact the entire society was white. The Doctor
was immediately blocked, whilst Ruby was merely swiped. The entire
society (and presumably the home-world they originially came from)
was quite clearly a rich white separatist one fairly early on.
Over half way through the season now and we get a Doctor
semi-lite episode, with a satirical look in to the future and a
dark ending... no pun intended (for once!)
From perfection to tragedy, in 45 minutes. No, not the episode,
the privileged life of Lindi Pepper-Bean and her all white group
of friends, (no rainbow casting from RTD there!) who live a
seemingly perfect life of only having to work two hours each
day. The rest of their time can be spent chatting to each other
in their social media bubble. (I see what RTD did there!)... and
sing along to "Itsy-Bitsy Teenie-Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini"!
Ditzy Lindi gets told how to walk, when to turn left/right, when
to pee, (etc.) and for a while you start to feel a little bit
sorry for the poor thing when she goes outside of her bubble and
tries to escape from the monsters in a world that is alien to
her without her AI dot to guide her around it. But the AI hates
its privileged citizens so it sets out to kill them all in
alphabetical order... with a monster that moves around slower
than a one-legged OAP and looks like it hugs people to death.
Lindi, being the selfish entitled brat that she is then gets the
nice guy, that was trying to help her escape - killed by the AI
dot so that she can save herself... what a bitch! (Remember
folks, nice guys get nowhere, so never help a damsel in
distress!)
Once again there's a few unanswered questions... where did the
monsters actually come from, why didn't their AI dots just kill
them,
and why was the home world destroyed? And does that mean
Penny Pepper-Bean (Lindi's Mum) was killed too? As she was
recognised by the Doctor as being the "face of the ambulance" in
"Boom"... so why is she following the Doctor and Ruby through
time and space? (Stay tuned, only three episodes to go...)

Because it was a suicide attack of last resort. But Retard T. Davies
should have explained that in the actual story if that was the reason.
Like all perverts that try to use literature into order to send a

I missed the white separatist woke racist bullshit. So you're telling me
that a country like Moldova where 99% of the population is of white
European origin is a separatist country because the happen white?
If ESA founded this colony of course it's going to be white and yet more >diverse than any of the racist woke garbage that you want to tout.
Diverse in language, history, music, arts, and culture, and skin tones
too just like Europe always has been.
I wonder how Communist RTD is.
If the Communist woke bigots like RTD had their way everyone would be
'white' because they would have forced all the 'non-white' people to >interbreed with 'white' majority and as 'black' genes are recessive only >'white' people would be left. What was shown is clearly the picture of
the society that these morons want to create.

That's not how AI works. I have good friend who studys AI at
Univerisity of Tomsk. AI does not emote. It just finds the most

As for her getting the guy skilled, it was a matter of survival. It

No wonder the AI hated them!
That's not how AI works. I have good friend who studys AI at
Univerisity of Tomsk. AI does not emote. It just finds the most
efficient solution to a problem using lots of factors.

It is a SFnal general purpose AI. What facilities it can or cannot
develop is not related at all to today's state of the art weak AI.
But even today there are people working on so-called Emotional AIs.
Anyway AIs waking up and killing their previous 'enslavers' is a
well worn trope in SF.
