In the Realm of the Senses (Japan, 1976)
In the Realm of Passion (Japan, 1978)
    Vengeance Is Mine (Japan, 1979)
Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence (Universal, 1983)
    Venus Wars (Japan, 1989)

Any truth to this? "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" in VV in 1983?

You forgot Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer (Japan, 1984) which incorporated VistaVision footage.

Martin has never run Vista Vision dailies which are one or some times two steps away from the camera negative. They are so sharp it hurts your eyes!
