Check out the Japanese on-line site "Yomidasu" and there are many references to TGoN(1961) being shown from August 1961 and February(1962) in Tokyo in
"Yumiuri Shinbun Newspaper. Nearly all the advertisements refer to 70MM in the top left corner of the screen.
There is also a comprehensive article about 70mm TGoN(1961) in the 7th August 1961 edition of that newspaper.
Does anybody know when the 70mm edition of The Robe was released.
