Actually, when I first heard about the very definite departure of Both
Buxom Blondes, I thought that would exactly be the case.

So I was fairly disappointed by Phil's early operation.

I was also delighted to see the red sports car, I thought they'd have
some spectacular driving -off-a-cliff-scene.

Instead they jump in a pool half stoned and half drunk, and drown. And
with all this quasi artistic camera work, and the semi artistic shots of
the clock.....

An hour of utter boredom.

I think there were 4 or 5 alternate endings filmed. Even the actors didn't know which one would be chosen to air. Probably in one of them R&R went for a midnight ride off a cliff instead of a midnight swim, as hinted by Honey's Thelma and Louise mention.

And now we're supposed to be on pins and needles over what the CCTV will reveal about Max' movements that night.
