    Hey,

It would be easy to recap Nicholas Cage's career and add a dash of schadenfreude. To me, that's a pointless endeavor – sort of like writing about movies on Facebook – and what's interesting here is this particular movie.

This particular movie is about a successful and well-known chef whose life took a hard turn and he now lives in the forest with his truffle-rooting pig. His life is lived with the pig and cooking or selling truffles and not much else. Then, he's beaten
up and the pig is kidnapped.

And thus begins a sort of chase or revenge film and it doesn't follow the usual clichés or plot points. I went in cold and I advise the same. It's an odd and slow movie that is credible and at times moving without being covered in schmaltz. Forget the
bad buzz and just watch the movie.

I truly admire Nicolas Cage. His talent is
amazingly beautiful. He is not picky with projects. Big or small he
gives everything he could and he just shines! Congratulations! Hope
    you'll find your truffle pig!
