    The problem is, they pretend Myers isn't the hero. Myers was put on Earth to purge it of the annoying and stupid. Instead, they try to make out like some woman is a hero for trying to kill Myers. Myers was the hero of his first two films, Jason was
    the hero of Friday the 13th films, Cropsy was the hero of "The Burning" (early slasher) and Freddy Kruger was the hero of hims films. The man behind "Saw" was the hero behind those films and fate was the hero behind the "Final Destination" films. The
    whole idea in these movies is the futility of fighting what people brought on themselves.

    If he weren't an anti-hero, he'd have killed decent people. Salt of the Earth types, instead of promiscuous teens and stupid adults.
