• A QUIET PLACE - PART 2 (no spoilers)

From moviePig@21:1/5 to All on Sun Oct 17 15:13:45 2021
They're ba-a-ack... The sound-seeking creatures, who make your next inadvertent rustle your last, again have an ear peeled for Emily Blunt. Although A QUIET PLACE - PART 2 looks every bit as good as its
predecessor, it doesn't much advance the original's plot ...which serves
mainly to expose how little of that there was. Somewhat recommended.

Someone's probably raised this point before after 'Stupid Premise I'... If hearing is the only sense that these killing machines have, then why
    haven't they wiped themselves out?

You mean because they'll hear each other and attack? Presumably they
can tell the difference. That does raise the question, though, of why
the humans don't bullhorn a loop of Times Square on New Year's Eve...

Yep. This is only a good movie if you don't think about it...

I thought number 1 was clever, different, despite the fact no one can stay quiet all the time.
    Number 2, I don't even remember.

How many family members do you want them to kill?

How big is the family plot?

    Bigger than the films...

One family member was killed in the first movie, are you saying more
would have to be killed to "advance the plot"?

The first one was a thrilling tale of escape from creatures with
