It's 1984. And in the tumultuous market for basketball sneakers, Nike
trails a distant third behind Converse and Adidas. Even worse, their
favorite incoming rookie, Michael Jordan, absolutely loves the latter.
Directed by now-reliable Ben Affleck, AIR enjoys its time-capsule
nostalgia as much as its inside-sports fable. Delightfully watchable,
and well recommended.
