Following a domestic calamity, a young woman indulges in a two-week
rental of an elegant house in the British countryside. MEN is an often
tense, beautifully photographed, atmospheric thriller that makes you
wish its writer-director had been content with that much. But, alas,
there are metaphorical truths to be laid bare... Somewhat recommended.
