    It went completely weirdo about season 2 (to the point where I nearly
    stopped bothering to watch it), but thankfully seems to have dumped the
    silly mumbo-jumbo quasi-religious alien microbe garbage and "ghost"
    policeman more recently.

    Season five was just lame. Season six is really odd. Each episode starts out with a scene that is very interesting but is completely disconnected from everything else happening.
