    Apart from Tim Blaney as the voice of Johnny 5, the only cast member to
    return was Fisher Stevens ... and even his character's name seems to
    have been changed! ("Ben Jabituya" in the first film and "Ben Jahveri"
    in the second, at least according to the dubious reliability of

    Not gonna pay the level of money for Ally Sheedy or Steve Guttenberg for a sequel. There were two types of sequel: bigger, or the pilot movie for a TV series adaptation.

    1988? OK, "Die Hard" was 1990, I forgive them for not calling it "Shorter Circuit".

    There's is a "Short Ciruit" TV series ... but it has nothing to do with
    these Johnny 5 movies. It's a series of independent animated short
