I thought of this Beatles tune, as Magical Mystery Tour was an important album at the time.
I'm not sure if you got the broadcast of the film in Canada, George, but thousands, perhaps millions of us American kids waited in vain to see it, and all we had was the album, and the 16 page booklet that came with it
No! Never saw the movie, or a video of this from the movie.
It's more than 50 years old, and the copyright owners have been sitting
on it. Meanwhile, they've been cracking down on the videos that
independent users have posted.
(For instance, I found one that had the full unedited film footage for "Flying," but couldn't use the music; they had some stupid polka muzak
instead.
Yet under the old British copyright law, this would have already been in
the public domain for years!
Here's one that turned up today. I think it's the best I can find, and
the one I decided to swap out with the Analogues on the playlist.
