    Grey Matter Melody

    Tomorrow receives
    the roots
    to these moments.

    Your eyes
    are closed now
    to my soul.

    Newspapers and radios
    report
    and they tell me
    where your head is at.

    I'm shooting
    for between the eyes
    fighting a dread
    of a dismal future.
