this was a good find, Will. I haven't listened to any of Berlin in
years. I owned a copy back in the summer of 1975 (IIRC), and I'd be
playing it ever week if not every day. I had it until about 1990 when I
got rid of all my vinyl and never found a copy on CD.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding about the removed comment over on
f/b. I was just trying to remove the duplicate, to keep the thread
clean, and the result was to fill it with a bunch of more chatter.
There's no rule we can't have comment in the thread, but it got me
thinking here on RAP is the best place to comment. I remember that's how
we used to do it, back in the earliest dancehall. A lot of times there's
no time for anything but just posting a title and link, but it shouldn't
    have to be only that.

I found another video of the "The Bed", with lyrics, and I'm going to
put that on under yours, for Maureen to use in her compilation. She's
planning to put a couple of SND threads on YouTube, and she's rather
have something with video than a still picture.

I'm not saying don't post stills. If I find a better video later, I can
always add it as a reply. If I don't see the original, though, I might
not look. And sometimes stills are all that's available with good sound
-- so the alternative could be losing that song entirely, which would be
much worse than not having a still version.

    Here's the one I found.

Wonderful! I did post it earlier, but a live version with a lot of
talking (mostly by Tom and Dick Smothers) that takes up as much time as
the song does. So it's good to hear it alone.

The only problem I've got with this here is that the Dancehall just got
dark (with "More Than a Feeling") and then darker still (with "The Bed")
-- and this is probably the most non-dark song there is.

But no worries. I think I can work around that by posting that other
video of "The Bed" I found as a comment, rather than as a reply.

You found the most essential song, Zod: the one that simply has to be on
    this Dancehall.

On the other hand, I cannot stand Albert's single. There's a few songs
like that from the 70's that I heard until I was sick of them. And if
radio hadn't been enough to turn me against it, I watched the infamous
Gong Show episode where ever contestant sang "Feelings".

But the song deserves to be on the Dancehall, as the climax in fact.
I've been reading the words, and in fact I think one way to do that is
to put it right after the most edgy song, "The Bed" -- because it could
very well be about a partner who's died, not just a breakup, and I'd
like to get that idea into it. And I'm going to look for an edgier version.
