    According to 'The Star Trek Encyclopedia' ...

    Troi studied psychology at the University of Betazed
    prior to her joingin Starfleet ["Tin Man"].

    ... Troi graduated from the academy (possibly having
    taken classes on Betazed) in 2359 ["Conundrum"].
