According to the latest Stack freebie magazine from JB Hi-Fi, the first
Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD discs will start to appear in store this month:
4 May
- first two Maze Runner movies
- X-Men:Days of Future Past
- Life of Pi
- The Martian
- Kingsman: The Secret Service
18 May
- The Revenant
- Mad Max: Fury Road
- The LEGO Movie
- San Andreas
1 June
- Deadpool
8 June
- The 5th Wave
- Pineapple Express
- The Amazing Spider-man 2
- Chappie
Slight problem in that neither Samsung nor Panasonic have actually yet announced when the 4K Ultra HD players will be in store, so buying any
of the discs is a point pointless. :-\
You may as well wait for the players and see if there are bundle
promotions with some of the movies included "free". (Plus of course you
need a 4K Ultra HD screen as well.)
