The planet Haven has detected a possibly hostile ship that evaded its stargate. Would that be the type of stargate shown in Stargate: SG1?

Why doesn't the Enterprise immediately seize that ship when it realizes what that ship is (Tarellian plague ship)?

When Wyatt Miller goes to that ship at the end, why doesn't he ask for his pictures of his dream woman to be beamed over?

    Or his clothing?

Actually, Wyatt loaded up the hypospray while no one was looking!

I have seen Lwaxana comment on Picard's thoughts without Picard having given her permission to read them!

First, I think it's funny you replied to a post from 26 years in the past.
That said, my imagination takes me to the thought of an entire culture being empathic. Reading minds, in that context, would mean that the ability is absolutely natural. Reading one's mind would be tantamount to reading
someone's body language on Earth. No one seeks permission to read body language.

I also imagine that empaths have an ability to censor what they're thinking
if they prefer to keep it private.

Interesting philosophical discussion, albeit an ancient one.
