    Was this the same Amanda that grew up near Philly and was a volunteer firefighter on the Main Line.

    Amanda Moses - we all called her 'Moses' she was one of Jonathan's (the writer/director) best friends and always referred to him as her brother to me. She was one of my dearest friends too, we'd hang out and got to concerts all of the time in the late
    90s and early 2000s - she passed away in 2002. I still get sad when I think of her and it is weird not finding much online about her - she was very funny, very smart, very talented, and a fiercely loyal friend that left this world too soon. I'm only
    typing this because there should be more out there about her. A truly great person. She was so proud of Jonathan's career, sad that she never got to see the butterfly effect

    We were told she died after shoulder surgery but we were never told what happened. Was it an infection?

    -- Actually Amanda Moses is the key answer to keep alive movie for these years it was a very efective. I re watch today and realize now her name in the end. For all my respect to her.
