It is sad to learn that the once-interesting IMDB message board will be terminated soon. I seldom contribute to that, but it will be missed.
At least in its early-day forms. Recently it has been dominated by social media bullies and Donald-Trump wannabes who just repeat the same opinion
(and lie) in message after short, content-free message. Quantity over
quality is of course the hallmark of this social-media driven, click-baiting, "likes"-soliciting age. The imdb board associated with _Miss Sloane_ isan eye-opener. The pro-gun lobby simply flood the board with anti-_Sloane_
messages; the majority of the people involved must not have seen the film (assuming they are even people and not net-robots). So maybe the board has
run its course. ( One wonders how much longer this group last, too!)
