• Anyone still here?

From David LaRue@21:1/5 to All on Wed Jun 15 02:37:57 2016
    Hello,

My news server just showed the entire group articles as though they were
new. It was a great read again.

Is Amy or any of the others still around?

    David

Pardon all the repeats. I'm seeing a bunch of messages from what
looks to be a FidoNet BBS of all things routed through yahoo. Talk
about a blast from the past.

FidoNet was pretty much extinct by the time this newsgroup started.

And as far as the newsgroup goes, as you can see, we're still here.
Or rather here again, the moderators gave up after months and months of no posts. It came alive briefly after the Phoenix Comic Con 2013 as you
    can see from the repeats.

I've started moderating again, or rather checking the empty queue, a
month or so ago. There was some activity on the moderator's mailing
list so I thought I'd give it a try. Everything is still working.

I am also still here, happy and with joy that the newsgroup is alive and kicking once more. I am feeling sorry that I have lost contact with Matthew Vincent
