Alleged predator Ed Buck, accused of contributing to the
overdoses of Black gay men, was recently served with an eviction
notice on his West Hollywood apartment.

Out activist Jasmyne Cannick, instrumental in pushing Los
Angeles County officials to arrest Buck for the deaths of Gemmel
Moore and Timothy Dean, tweeted an image of the eviction notice
on Wednesday.

The notice came from lawyers of Buck's landlord and gives him
three days to vacate the premises. Someone other than Buck will
have to box up his things since he's currently in prison; he was
arrested on September 17, accused of federal and state crimes
tied to the overdose deaths of Moore and Dean, as well as
another overdose this month where the man survived. Moore, in
his diary, said Buck got him hooked up on methamphetamine and
administered the drug to him. Moore died in Buck's apartment in
2017 and Dean this year. Buck allegedly targeted vulnerable gay
Black men, drugging them to death or near-death for his sexual
gratification.

The reasoning for Buck's eviction is listed as follows:

"On Sept. 17, 2019 the Los Angeles Sheriff (sic) Department
raided your unit and found illegal drugs. In addition, there
have been 2 deaths of persons who have died within the unit due
to a drug overdose. There was another person who overdosed
within the unit the week before Sept. 17, 2019. This incident
gave rise to the current raid by the Sheriff's Office."
