That which is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow. That is
the entire Torah, and the rest is commentary. Now go and study.
Note the negative phrasing. Christians got it wrong. It's the difference between causing no harm to begin with and justifying what you have done
to another based on your belief that it's in his best interest but in
practice has caused harm.
Prosyletizing, for example, is part of what certain Protestants believe
is part of being a good Christian, and it's how they justify "saving
souls". I don't care to be converted. Stay away.
