    Ian reminded me that it's still on Showtime. I didn't recognize it from
    the description that it's a comedy. I watched the beginning of it. Yeah,
    I remembered it. I had no idea it was supposed to be a comedy. Whatever

    This sure sounds like one of the plots on the Treadstone tv series from
    a few years ago. I'd say the assasin with a secret identity as an
    ordinary family woman has been done to death and much better and that
    this standard plot should be retired for a few years, but no one cares
    what my opinion is.

    a few years ago. I'd say the assasin with a secret identity as an
    ordinary family woman has been done to death and much better and that
    this standard plot should be retired for a few years, but no one cares

    Yes. They adapted a tv series based on the evil Treadstone program from
    the Robert Ludlum novels. There were no references to anything else in
    the novels nor the movie adaptations. I don't think the Jason Bourne
    character was even mentioned in dialogue.
