A Tennessee Democratic state senator called for riots on Friday after
the Republican-controlled state Senate passed a bill preventing cities
from restricting their police forces from making certain traffic stops.

State Sen. Charlane Oliver, who represents Nashville, said the
Republicans’ pro-police legislation is “rooted in racism,” and will
force those in her district to “fight like hell.” The bill was
sponsored by Republican state Sen. Brent Taylor after Memphis passed an ordinance that banned traffic stops for issues such as expired
registrations, a single inoperable headlight or brake light, and loose
    bumpers, News Channel 3 reported.

The Memphis city council passed the ordinance following the death of
Tyre Nichols, a black man, who was fatally injured during a
confrontation with five black Memphis police officers on January 7,
2023, after he was pulled over.

“It is a slap in the face and you might as well stomp on the grave of
Tyre Nichols,” Oliver said after the state Senate passed Taylor’s bill
by a vote of 26-6. “Yes, we are emotionally charged. Why? Because it’s
personal for us. Taylor made this personal the minute he introduced
this legislation to target one family and one life that was lost.”

“So yeah, we gonna fight,” Oliver added. “Dr. King said that riots are
the language of the unheard. You ain’t seen nothing yet. If you keep
silencing us like this, what do you think our district is going to do?
We have had it up here. Gloves are off. Like, we gonna fight like hell.
You don’t expect us to respond when you gaslight us every single day
    with these bills?”

“It is rooted in racism,” she continued. “This is a Jim Crow bill that
[Sen. Brent] Taylor brought and all his Confederates voted for it.”

The five Memphis police officers who got into the confrontation with
Nichols were charged in his death. Footage from a camera mounted on a
nearby pole area showed officers kicking and beating Nichols while he
was on the ground. Last November, one of the five officers pleaded
guilty to excessive force and obstruction of justice in exchange for prosecutors recommending a 15-year prison sentence.

Oliver, who has been in office since 2022, co-founded the Equity
Alliance, a non-profit organization that focuses on “education, housing
and environmental justice, jobs and economic opportunity, criminal
justice and public safety, politics and democracy, and healthcare – as
    well as reparations.”

Taylor responded to Oliver’s remarks on the legislation, writing,
“Despite your overwhelming support for my bill that prohibits local
governments from banning legal routine traffic stops, leftist
opposition has been insane and totally out of touch with reality and
    our community’s demands.”

“I have been hearing from people in Democrat districts who have thanked
me for passing this important legislation,” Taylor added. “These
community members are tired of crime and bad policies that don’t allow
    police to do their jobs.”

The bill now heads to Republican Governor Bill Lee’s desk, and he has
10 days to either sign or veto the legislation before it would become
    law without a signature.

A Tennessee music venue is hosting a "Trans Day of Vengeance" concert just
days after the one-year anniversary of the deadly shooting at The Covenant School, in which a transgender-identifying woman killed three children and three adults, apparently out of ideological fury.

A flyer promoted by several bands says that the Graveyard Gallery in Murfreesboro is hosting the concert on March 31, and using it to raise money for a group that provides gender reassignment surgery. The shooting occurred
on March 27, 2023, at the Christian school in Nashville, less than an hour away.

The party comes with Nashville schools in high alert because of the potential for violence on the anniversary of the shooting. The shooting last year came
as radical transgender activists rallied for a "Trans Day of Vengeance" on
the same day that year, with the Trans Radical Activist Network (TRAN)
saying, "The time is now, enough is enough."

President Joe Biden in 2021 recognized March 31 as the "Transgender Day of Visibility," which trans activists changed to "vengeance." Whether that Day
of Vengeance may have spurred the timing of the child-killer's act is unknown because authorities have refused to release her manifesto.

The flyer for this year's event says "all proceeds will be donated to Point
of Pride" and that the bands include Dumpster Pussy, Dru The Drifter + The
Back Alley Hookers, Boy Clothes, Spinning Lodge, and the Oitakus. It says the event is presented by Boro Fondo, a "music, art, and bike fest" that is advertising the show and asking attendees to "bring new or used chest binders to donate to Point of Pride."

"Point of Pride mails gender affirming garments to trans and gender-diverse people who cannot afford or otherwise access them," a poster on Boro Fondo's Instagram page says. "Shipping is free. Point of Pride provides funding
towards surgery, hormone replacement therapy, and permanent hair removal services."

Graveyard Gallery did not return requests for comment. Nor did Spinning Lodge or the Oitakus.

    https://dw-wp-production.imgix.net/2024/03/vengeance-poster-768x758.png

Boro Fondo told The Daily Wire that while its event calling for "vengeance"
may "sound frightening," nobody associated with the event "is planning any actual violent acts."

"It does sound frightening, especially considering the tragic event from last year," it said in an email to the Daily Wire. "Our hearts go out to the affected families, and you'll find many trans people from TN denounced what this person did. However, it is merely a play on 'Trans Day of Visibility' which is the day on which the show is taking place."

"Our 'vengeance' is simply existing despite the immense adversity trans
people face in Tennessee every day," it added. "We would like to stress that nobody associated with us is planning any actual violent acts."

TRAN's website for last year's event included violent rhetoric, quoting trans activist Sylvia Rivera who said, "I remember when someone threw a Molotov cocktail, I thought, 'My god, the revolution is here.'"

The 2023 event in Washington, D.C. was cancelled at the last minute -- not
out of respect for the slain children, but because "the safety of our trans community is first priority" and there was a "flood of raw hatred directed towards the trans community after the Tennessee shooting."

Transgender activists aim to get "vengeance" for what they imagine is a "genocide" against them. However, that genocide does not exist, according to Department of Justice statistics.

Transgenders were the victims of 271 hate crimes in 2021, most of them minor, with the exception of two murders and two rapes. Seventy were "intimidation," and 37 were vandalism. Half of the offenders were black.

Based on the FBI data, a black person's chance of being the victim of a hate crime in a given year is 98 in a million, a Jewish person stands a 109 in a million chance. The likelihood of a transgender person is less than half of that, a rate similar to the one for Muslims.

Members of the Selected First Motorcycle Club join others in prayer at a makeshift memorial for victims of a shooting at the Covenant School campus,
in Nashville, Tennessee, March 28, 2023. - A heavily armed former student killed three young children and three staff in what appeared to be a
carefully planned attack at a private elementary school in Nashville on March 27, 2023, before being shot dead by police. Chief of Police John Drake named the suspect as Audrey Hale, 28, who the officer later said identified as transgender.
The national TRAN group, which is not known to be affiliated with the Murfreesboro concert, was led by an individual who "came out as a lesbian at age 29 and as a transgender man at age 50," as well as another who said
"What motivated me to start TRAN was the fact I was bullied to the point
where I attempted to end my own life. The person that bullied me was a fellow member of the LGBTIA+."

The Virginia chapter was led by Bo Belotti, who once worked for Elizabeth Guzman, a Democrat Virginia state lawmaker.

bias that host might have. There isn’t a grievance that cannot be
blamed on the Jews as a means of alleviating oneself or a system of the rightful blame. Jews either sit atop the power structure, pull the
strings behind the structure, or lie beneath the structure to
destabilize it. In my travels, I have experienced Jew hatred from
socialists, capitalists, centrists, communists, you name it. These new virulently hateful protests come as no shock to me. Quite the opposite.
At institutions like Columbia, which foster almost exclusively a
culture of victimhood and oppression narratives, blind Jew hatred is
    almost the foregone conclusion.

Academia has always been a welcome home to an intellectual “elite” that
are unable to make meaningful contributions to a market economy. Their
talents are marketable, in a way, only at an institution that demands
merely the regurgitation of information — if not for the fact that it
would be impossible to charge $70,000 per year for a YouTube education,
these skills are even less relevant to a market economy today. And so universities are especially attractive to a subset of adults whose
skill set grows ever less marketable by the day. By definition, these
are the folks most drawn to grievances and jealousy. Outside of the
bubble of intellectual elitism, they have no way of supporting
themselves. It is hard to make money in an office when your subject
    matter expertise is “oppression.”

As I pointed to the Kippah on my head, my neck still stinging from
having been clawed earlier by a student who called me a “white devil,”
I recalled why a Kippah was so important to me. I do not wear it for a religious purpose. I wear it as an act of pride and identification. In
response to two rank anti-Semitic episodes at the 2018 Olympics, I was
the first to wear a Kippah in Olympic competition. Jew hatred seeks to dehumanize, delegitimize, and intimidate Jews. But more than anything,
it seeks to eradicate Jewish identity. That is the one constant of all
forms of Jew hatred — the end goal is always a “final solution.” Being
rid of Jews. And in some ways these protests have succeeded in their
intent. It takes a lot to shock me — but seeing a Columbia student
remove his Kippah before exiting the subway tunnel at the site of the
protests left a mark that is truly difficult to put into words.

In the past six months, I have set up picnic tables in parks in New
York and across North America to engage in a dialogue with folks and to
debate. I have shown up to many protests. What I have observed is
obscene. A complete subversion of Western values encouraged by the very “oppression-Olympics” loving faculty that have stoked hatred and
division amongst our youth for decades. Chants of “death to America”
are routine. “Go back to Poland” is shouted by the same “tolerant”
young adults who champion unfettered migration. International students
lead chants in Arabic about violent, terrorist action to topple the
“Zionist” regime, which by extension includes the United States which,
they say, is “controlled by the Jews.”

Many of the protesters have no idea what their demands are. All they
know is they stand on the “side of justice” and where they stand for
justice, all means of fighting evil are therefore acceptable, even
violence. When I was shoved to the ground and kicked I have no doubt
that whoever assaulted me believed that such action, while illegal,
vile, and hateful was striking a blow against injustice. To strike me,
a visibly Jewish man, was to strike against the evil they had been told
I represented. The West needs to be aware of the implications of this mentality, for Western values have made the United States and other
countries like it far more successful than those without those values. Eventually, these students, and those who come after them, will view a
blow to Western values and structures as a blow for “justice.”

In a few weeks, these protests will be no more. The privileged students
will return home for the summer without consequences for their actions,
and this moment will die down. But the environment at the institutions
will remain. The noxious atmosphere of grievance ideology that always
views Jews as an oppressor will persist. Make no mistake — this is not
a “sudden explosion.” This is systemic. Pervasive. It will take much
time and spine to root out. And if the past six months are any
    indication, we will not succeed.
