Daily Wire hosts and co-founder Jeremy Boreing will cover President Joe
Biden’s “State of the Union” address during an episode of “Backstage” that
will stream live on Thursday evening.

Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, Andrew Klavan, and Boreing will discuss Biden’s
speech and top political and cultural stories during the livestream, which
will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET. Daily Wire host Michael Knowles, who would
normally be a part of the “Backstage” crew, will attend Biden’s address in person as a guest of Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN).

Biden’s address, which is scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m. ET, will be the president’s most important event of the year so far as he battles with former President Donald Trump, the presumed Republican presidential nominee, on the 2024 election campaign trail. During his speech, Biden is expected to tout
his economic record, defend his party’s fight to promote pro-abortion
policies across the country, and contrast himself with Trump.

One of the biggest points of interest for Americans who will tune into the “State of the Union” is how Biden will address the ongoing crisis at the southern border, the issue at the top of voters’ minds heading into the election. The president’s handling of the border crisis has been slammed by many on both the Right and the Left, who are calling on the Biden administration to do more to stop the record flow of illegal immigrants crossing into the U.S.
