After an arduous workout, I watche4d:

MADAME WEB *KILLS* THE DISNEY GIRLBOSS - LONG LIVE HEROES (Disparu):
Madame Web reviews recently came out for the Sony Marvel movie, much to Hollywood's dismay. Disney changed the marvel MCU to center characters like She-hulk and focus on ramakes like Snow White with Rachel Zeger. But do audiences want this? Madame Web proved that the disasters keep getting worse, is it the end of the girlboss? Has Disney realised they need to change? Is Madame Web worth watching?

    DRIVE-AWAY DOLLS | Film Threat Reviews: https://youtu.be/5EQghTiNFoY?si=9ueheDHNB_ZTssvV

CAPTAIN FEARLESS: GOLDEN AGE "HERO" - Comic Tropes:
This time I take a look at a Golden Age character, Captain Fearless, who only lasted 2 issues. He didn't really do much of anything. He had a magic horn
that could call a ghost who did everything for him. https://youtu.be/t3tC6JKh7NU?si=0PttQa9bVdzJ3XEh

WHY WOULD THEY NAME THIS COMIC DICK COLE? - Comic Tropes :
Golden Age comic books can be a grab bag of genres and quality but Dick Cole adds something unique to the mix: some bizarre innuendo. Dick Cole was a military cadet who got into adventures like sports competitions and mysteries with gangsters. And every once in a while something stranger, like battling a dinosaur. But what was up with his name? https://youtu.be/mE94UFJMv1I?si=b6WL3EZ9Vc4LWAiq

10 TV SITCOM CHARACTERS WITH SHOCKINGLY DARK BACKSTORIES:
Why were so many sitcom characters abandoned as children?! https://youtu.be/EzhBQkbADLw?si=0Pd7lS3eKQiCuW5f

SEX AND THE CITY STAR 'LASTED TWO DAYS' IN HUNGER STRIKE FOR GAZA:
Sky News host Rita Panahi reacts to Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon "lasting two" days in a five-day hunger strike for Gaza.
Cynthia Nixon is known for portraying the character of Miranda in the popular sitcom.
"Calling it a hunger strike perhaps is overselling it," Ms Panahi said.
"Guess how many hours per day this hunger strike lasts for - 12.
"Like people who do intermittent fasting would fast for 16-18 hours a day." https://youtu.be/SzLQ1QwB85Y?si=-7t1XhvGs1f_DUiP

MADAME WEB'S BOX OFFICE FAILURE IS NOW *COMPLETE*!!:
Madame Web's failure is now complete. It can't get over $1,000 per cinema on average. It can't get into the top 3 domestic Box Office and it can't get anyone to see its film. With Dune 2 set to take away their theatre share this movie will likely not even hit $100million WORLDWIDE!! https://youtu.be/boU1zyFgxxY?si=6tMOwLG4mBxCk1a2

DUNE 2 REVIEW | IS IT A MASTERPIECE OR DID IT GO WOKE? NO SPOILERS!:
Dune 2 hits theaters June 29th, but we have an early spoiler-free review here for you right now! Does the sequel live up to the promise of the first film?
Or were our fears that it would pull the old bait and switch justified?
Wonder no more my friends - we have the story here! #dune #dune2 #warnerbros https://youtu.be/YqG6514ROsc?si=grPgmRNF4Ul2QG9Z

They spelled "theater" wrong! What are they - some kind of European
    commies?!!

    What did you watch?

    Mostly just soaps:

    soaps: Fri's ep's.
DOOL - Well, that was disappointing - the ID of the shooter of
Harris is revealed, and it wasn't Xander (duh!), it was Stefan. There's
no coming back from this - it's clear with Camila Banus' Gabi gone, they
are poised to also write out Stefan (I actually expected this)...
Meanwhile, the frame-up of Xander continues, but it's so obvious that
even dumb Rave is suspicious. And Harris Michaels finally awakens! But
we know he's not long for this world, so the only question is is if he
will get to ID Stefan as the shooter before he kicks the bucket!
GH - Mostly boring ep. This is going exactly the way I suspected it
would - while Cyrus doesn't get the name of the "big bad" who contacted
the arms dealer dude, Cyrus did find out that the "big bad", "Stone", is literally a "ghost", i.e. "dead" - Duh! It's Jason Morgan!! Nothing else important happened.

Ride (CW) - "Your Cheatin' Heart" (ep. #6). Geezus - I had to wait until
*the very end of the episode* just to see the return engagement from
Holly Deveaux - she was the dead husband's ex, but they weren't having
an affair: she was helping him "cheat" by fixing which bull he was going
to ride! Boring!! Otherwise, Dylan Neal shows up as the billionaire dude
that Nancy Travis is trying to get to invest in the rodeo. Meh.

Once again last night, the Spectrum app on my bedroom Apple TV box
refused to work. I have no idea how Spectrum thinks they'll be able to
get rid of cable boxes if their streaming app never properly works!

I guess you didn't see my review (hmm, don't think
    I posted it here..)

Anyway, I watched it so you didn't have to.

    My comments;

If you're in the middle of a heavy duty thunderstorm, and
there's a tornado alert, and... the movie theatre is the
    only nearby shelter, then maybe.

(If you're hopelessely smitten by Dakota Johnson, then
maybe a tornado watch is enough...)

I am very happy that I can stream through my Comcast box, but I still
use my firestick for some stations like AppleTV+ (and others) that can
stream in HDR10+ which the Comcast box can't do. Actually, I never
checked, but I doubt it can do Dolby Vision either.

    I watched:

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (AppleTV+) - I binged through the first 4
episodes of this series set in the Godzilla monsterverse. The series
takes place in multiple time periods but so far mostly in the 50s and
after the events of the first Godzilla movie. I guess it's OK. I
wouldn't have minded something a bit better. I guess my main gripe is
none of the characters are likeable. In fact the main character is particularly unlikable. But I'll get through it. It is holding my
interest. I had planned to stop at episode 3, but they ended on a
cliffhanger and I *needed* to see what happens next.

I enjoyed it quite a bit despite there being some very very very big
stupid. Bottom line is, it’s worth it whenever Kurt, Russell, senior or junior is on screen.

    What did you watch?

    TRACKER
Already discussed. Didn’t make a whole lot of sense. The doctor from Star Trek was cute, but they completely forgot her plotline after she told him
    he owed her coffee.

LAW & ORDER CRIMINAL INTENT TORONTO
Already discussed. I think it’s pretty much one and done. I opened the post to go in depth, but I’m not sure it matters or anyone cares. The writers didn’t understand crypto, or Ponzi schemes.

    MURDOCH MYSTERIES.
At least Crabtree is back. People running around chasing ghosts. Dr. Julia
is nastier than usual to her husband.

    NCIS
The first episode without a credit for David McCallum is the worst episode ever. Pa Brady is coming up with stupid stuff for his team to do like
exchange jobs for the day with non-agents in the building like the car
repair guy and the idiot accountant. There’s no way Brady should be doing anything like that. At least if it came from some outside efficiency Expert
it might’ve made sense. Casey is more obnoxious than usual as she insists
on going out on trouble calls and stuff and nobody will just tell her to
shut up and sit down. They have to interrupt “walk a mile“ day, because a call comes in and there are no other NCIS teams whatsoever working in the building anymore. Our four heroes are it. WTF? Casey is on standby because they have an informant who keeps calling in and will only talk to her and
Brady insists She needs something to eat so she leaves the freaking
building and goes to the diner because they have no way to get food brought
in or served in or from the vending machines or anywhere on the secure
grounds or anything anymore. CIA safe houses have to be manned at all
times by people keeping them ready in case they’re needed. What the hell
are they doing? Light dusting, and vacuuming?
They better bring in some stunt, guest stars and fast.

    DEATH IN PARADISE
Pretty much the same plot as Law & Order Toronto. The dead guy took
$250,000 with him because he was the only one who had the crypto key. The crooks thought they’d only managed to steal like 2500 bucks and they had $1 million with equipment in a storage locker which is what they kept calling
the office upstairs from the computer repair place. This is the first
episode this season with an appearance from Harry. The inspector is
flirting with someone anonymous online and it’s obvious to everyone
watching that it’s Florence or at least they want us to think it is. The
most interesting thing is that they colored each characters closed,
captioning dialogue in a different color, which was helpful when two people were talking at once.

shut up and sit down. They have to interrupt "walk a mile" day, because a >> call comes in and there are no other NCIS teams whatsoever working in the
building anymore. Our four heroes are it. WTF? Casey is on standby because >> they have an informant who keeps calling in and will only talk to her and
Brady insists She needs something to eat so she leaves the freaking
building and goes to the diner because they have no way to get food brought >> in or served in or from the vending machines or anywhere on the secure
grounds or anything anymore. CIA safe houses have to be manned at all
times by people keeping them ready in case they're needed. What the hell
are they doing? Light dusting, and vacuuming?

... and THAT is why you don't make everyone randomly exchange jobs!

Oh yeah, they actually said repeatedly at the end. What a great idea the
job switching was and how everybody should do it.

Not to mention that's illegal in the federal government. People are
trained to perform the job they're hired for. Someone else stepping in
and doing a job they're not trained for creates massive liability issues.

And are they really switching jobs? It's one thing for a special agent
to spend the day crunching numbers as an accountant but did he hand his
badge and gun to the accountant and send her out on the streets
investigating crime? 'Cause whoever endorsed that should be arrested and
    locked up.

NCIS has its own private 911 division. And they had Casey Manning the 911
calls unsupervised while the actual 911 operator went out for snacks.

This reminds me in CSI criminal element Horatio Toronto SVU, the potential victim picked up her cell phone And dialed eight digits and was answered
with “911 Toronto what is your emergency“

As near as I could tell, it was simply Brady‘s team (but not Brady), including Jimmy Palmer, acting as interns in various departments so they
could learn how important everybody else in the building was. So McGee was changing the oil in cars. Casey was answering 911 calls. Nick was making spreadsheets.

None of the other department people were working as very special agents and none of the other field teams seem to exist anymore.

Also, each very special agent only learned one other department so all
McGee is going to learn is how to change oil.

The accountant turned out to know all the business of everyone else in the
DC area off the top of their head, which made it easy to catch the crooks.

Even if all of that setup were actual the operator would have hit a

Yeah, no one was being given serious work while switching jobs. They
were basically being asked to do grunt work that might have been given
to someone fresh on the job to help them learn the job.

I’m not entirely certain there were any other 911 operators. Good point

I can’t imagine it’s really going to make them appreciate accounting or the motor pool. I can see maybe having them shadow, the morgue or the lab to
see what other people who actually work on cases do.

ALL calls to 911 are recorded because they are potential evidence in a
criminal case. A significant part of the job is filling requests for recordings of specific incidents for court cases.

Oh god, I don’t think I’ve EVER seen a comic with a superhero this pathetic and inept! He fails at everything from
maintaining the secret identity to actually stopping regular criminals! I’d love to see him have to fight an actual
supervillain with superpowers! He can’t even handle a few Nazis. I mean Nazis are really basic villains, they are like
the easiest villains for heroes to always defeat! They are on the same difficulty level as regular non-powered henchmen

Wow, I'm going to have to find some of these Dick Cole stories. I never thought I'd be so interested in Dick, but I can
honestly say I'd like to grab as much Dick Cole as I can get my hands on! Yes, from this moment on, I'm a big fan of

Yeah, but this isn’t real 911. This is NCIS own Personal 911. That you presumably dial a completely different number to get.
