both a huge file be downloaded AND it was only for
Win7 "or better" (there isn't any Win past XP that
is "better" IMHO, and none better than a Linux distro).
I may try to download the link if/when I get back down
to the Big City and have time to stop by the library
there, then see if I can get it to give me the control
over my own device that I'm used to.

Good luck. I can testify to the program working well and
giving you complete control over your tablet. You can
remove anything (even things you shouldn't) but it does a
good job of informing you what each application does and
lets you know which are system related and as such
shouldn't be removed.
