• This is How You Fight the Climate Lunatics

Supermarket shelves in France and Belgium are starting to empty. No farmers.
No food. No future. This is how you fight against the climate lunatics and their net zero policies.

I made my first foray to the supermarket yesterday after picking up my alternate insulin because I can’t get the real stuff anymore and went a
    month without.

Even though it was noon, the place was empty, so was Walgreens come to
think about it) and the shelves were only running about 80% full and the
prices had gone up easily 20% since Christmas.

There was plenty of meat and produce, but the canned and package goods are
in short supply. And I overheard conversations that the Stock boys and such
are putting out the resumes because “summer is coming“

Are you sure you haven't moved to the world of Game of Thrones where
Winter is Coming? I went to the store today about 3:30 in the
afternoon and there were plenty of people there. Some stuff had gone
up in the past few weeks but some had come down. Or maybe the problem
is just the state that you live in where much of the food comes from
elsewhere, especially California where prices are much higher than
elsewhere in country, and what is grown locally is grown with scarce
water which just adds to the cost.

At least around here we don't normally see water be a scarce
commodity. Hell, it was raining just last night. Not a heavy rain but
it did go on for a few hours.

There was plenty of meat and produce, but the canned and package goods are
in short supply. And I overheard conversations that the Stock boys and such >are putting out the resumes because “summer is coming“

Everything was there in plentiful supply. No shortages of anything,
but then there rarely is unless it's the day before a resupply truck
comes by and then there can be some shortages. Same with the Publix
trucks or the bread guys. Day before a resupply and there can be
shortages on some items, especially if there was a sale. Next day
everything is back in plentiful supply.

It's weird how some items are in very short supply. For instance,
my supermarket almost never has onion rings any more. Umpteen kinds of
french fries but no onion rings whatsoever for many months on end. They
finally got some in again a couple of months back and had them again
the next time I was there but the last couple of times, no onion rings
again. They will occasionally be out of other things, usually for only
one or two visits to the store, but I can almost guarantee they won't
have onion rings. Maybe there's a world shortage of onions or the onion
growers are on a prolonged strike....

Another lie from our resident Trumpist.  Check out the note following
    YOUR CITATION:

"Readers added context they thought people might want to know
As clearly audible on the audio track, this has nothing to do with the farmers' protests but is related to a strike in Belgium at an
undetermined date. Here's a similar video in a Lidl from 1 year ago

There is presently no shortage in supermarkets in France or Belgium."

So, feel free to apologize any time.  Because that's what adults with a shred of integrity would do.

You do have a shred of integrity left, don't you?
