Yesterday was my first "official" day of work for the new year. I got
stuff done, but was still able to get home somewhat early-ish. Also, I
may have figure out a (temporary?) fix for my deteriorating wireless
situation by moving my AirPort router (higher) in the room it is in -
we'll see if this fix "sticks". (At the least, I am hoping it buys me a
few more months before I have to replace the AirPort...)

    Anyway, yesterday, I got through:

soaps: DOOL - Fri's ep. This episode was really quite boring, and
consisted of nothing more than people just sitting around talking.
Xander and Sarah have wine and dinner, and after she makes a move on
him, but he turns her down - then, at the end, Xander gets a mysterious
phone call (is Xander an assassin?!!). Stephanie and Jada (and Rafe)
talk personal lives - it now looks like Everett cheated on Jada with Stephanie(?!), though neither knows this yet; the snake Everett saw them together and avoided getting busted, and now wants to "talk" to
Stephanie... NuTheresa talks to Kayla, and ends up vowing to come clean
and "make amends". Alex goes to Marlena the shrink, which was only
enjoyable for Marlena's reactions to Alex's idiocy!
GH - Mon's ep. They take the whole episode to reveal what we already
knew: that Esme's "trip to Toronto" was a red herring to throw the cops
off the scent, and she's really gone to Paris, to hopefully brutally
murder Spencer and (Nu)Trina (who hasn't really been "new" for a couple
of years now!). The others figured it out when Dante and Chase
questioned Esme's old nanny, and Kevin woke up and fills Laura in, and
then Alexis got drawn in to help figure it out... Meanwhile, during
Finn's malpractice case, Finn rules out the widow of being in on the
con, which means the dead patient came up with the malpractice suit
scheme all on his own - unclear how Finn gets out of this now, though
Tracy confronts the widow at the end, so she may come up with the answer.

    I then watched The CW:

Ride - Ep. #2. Honestly, I didn't pay any attention.

Wild Cards - Ep. #2. I didn't pay attention to the case, but they seem
to be keeping the same fun, frothy atmosphere from ep. #1 going. In this
one, Max and Det. Cole stumble upon a murder while being assigned the
"grunt work" investigation of delivery package robberies(!!) in an old
folks home! Somehow this led to female MMA fighters. Sidenote: Wow,
Nicole Munoz was a guest star in this ep., and while she was never a
"skinny" thing she has kind of let herself go by this point (and I hope
the ugly tattoo was makeup, and not actually hers...).

    Finally:

The Irrational - I didn't even finish this one, but it involved Megan
Best (fresh off "Confessions of a Cam Girl"!!) as a burn victim that
Alex is counseling, and also involved teen lesbians, and I don't even
    know what the "case" was!!

    Hey, thanks for asking!

A day late, we watched Murdoch Mysteries with an incredibly cute yet evil beekeeper.

Which specific ep. (or at least season) was this? (I want to look up the
    cute beekeeper...)

This was some sort of weird riff on the 1966 Batman TV show. I
don’t know what the hell they thought they were thinking.

Then the fire stick suggested I watch Magneto as Sherlock Holmes in Mr. Holmes. Wouldn’t you know it? People were being killed by evil bees. (Or were they?) What are the odds that would happen to me twice in the same
day? You have to wonder if the fire stick algorithms did that to me on purpose.

I forgot about this show. The commercials used to air all the time but
    I never hear about it.

    I watched:

Halo (4K disc) I picked up the first season on 4K disc to rewatch before
season 2. The video/audio quality of the first season on Paramount+ was
all over the place. You never knew what you were going to get, and
often it wasn't good. But these discs are consistent 4K image and Dolby
Atmos sound. I watched the first two episodes. They held up very well.

Masters of the Universe: Revolution (Netflix) This is part (season?) 3.
Would it have killed Netflix to just do a basic recap for a show that
hasn't produced a new episode since 2021?!? Anyway, I forgot to mention
I watched episode 1 "Even for Kings," on Sunday which picks up 3 years
later without a recap! Then episode 2 last night "Ascension." Both
episodes were good, but it's one continuous story and I don't see a way
    to summarize without massive spoilers.

John Williams - Live in Vienna (blu-ray) - I didn't realize it at the
time but it's been almost exactly one year since I purchased "Hans
Zimmer: Live in Prague" and "John Williams - Live in Vienna." I picked
them up mainly because they have Dolby Atmos sound (and great reviews).
I promptly watched the Hans Zimmer concert and loved it. It's basically
just him conducting a concert of his music. Then I kept meaning to also
watch John Williams and literally took an entire year before I finally
got around to it. This was just Williams conducting a concert of his
music in Vienna. It looked and sounded great. Although I have one
major gripe. He didn't play anything from Superman. That's some of his
best work, and not a single note. :-(

    Hey, thanks for asking!

A day late, we watched Murdoch Mysteries with an incredibly cute yet evil >>>> beekeeper.

Which specific ep. (or at least season) was this? (I want to look up the >>> cute beekeeper...)

It was the latest episode S17, ep 14 The Smell of Alarm. And on IMDB it
correctly gives it as airing last night.

OK, so "cute beekeeper" must have either be Christina Orjalo or Niamh Wilson (from "Degrassi"!).

She's the one with dark hair.

    What did you watch?

Yesterday was my first "official" day of work for the new year. I got
stuff done, but was still able to get home somewhat early-ish. Also, I
may have figure out a (temporary?) fix for my deteriorating wireless situation by moving my AirPort router (higher) in the room it is in -
we'll see if this fix "sticks".

    Ahem. It’s simply “CW“
using the article “the” before it is racist.

Ride - Ep.
