    Lots of dull elements here : the final victim, Buffalo Bill, Scott Glen's FBI chief, the loony bin honcho... but worse yet is Lecter's big escape... so far fetched as to be comical.
    A good plot surprise in the search for Buffalo Bill and OK use of night vision glasses but over all the direction was too often an annoyance. So mediocre as not to be worth watching 3/10 Baahs
