It has occurred to me that one can also learn by listening to the less experienced.
Even more so if you are trying to help the less-experienced. You
don't really understand a thing until you can explain it, and they are
quick to inform you that you haven't explained it. (Assuming that you
don't *assume* that you have explained it and wander off without
watching the student do it.)
