• Chengdu Has Just Changed the Dates and Venue of Worldcon

From evelynchimelisleeper@gmail.com@21:1/5 to All on Thu Jan 19 20:25:51 2023
According to their Facebook page, Oct 18-22, 2023, are the new dates; the new venue is the Chengdu Science Fiction Museum (which is still under construction). Their website still shows the old information. Their website also still has no way to
purchase a membership, although in order to nominate for the Hugos, one must have one by January 31.

The website still has the old dates. They're following the tradition
that only people who use Facebook deserve to know. The website devotes a
lot of its space to "Eastern Fantasy: A Metaverse Sci-Fi Fest," which contributes to the same impression.

Ah yes, that age-old Chinese tradition.
