    File 770 seems to have gone offline. I'm getting a 403 error for the
    homepage https://file770.com and 404 errors for links from the RSS feed.

    Has something happened?

    A friend says he's gotten a notice that it's because of a DDoS attack.

    I wonder why it might have been DDoS'd. The site ran a link to an anti-Lukianenko petition a few days ago.

    Your friend appears to be correct. This is directly from the file770
    site: "File 770 has been offline due to a DDoS attack for the past
    couple of hours."
