Something along the lines of "there's something very wrong with a
society that regards a naked body to be obscene, but not a naked
blade". Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

I've found that when searching for quotes, it's best to strip them to
their core concepts, since it's so easy to rephrase them without knowing
it. I suspect this is what you were thinking of:
"A naked blade is reckoned to be less obscene than a naked woman."
That's Spider Robinson, from somewhere in _Callahan's Crosstime Saloon_.
