This 1930s Gillette 'NEW' Short Comb Safety Razor W Blade is in Excellent Mechanical Condition. The Teeth Are All Present and Straight. The handle has No cracks. Pat #17687. This razor is a great piece of Gillette history; a Vintage 1930’s Gillette '
NEW' short comb open safety razor with its original common bar handle.
This razor, of course, has small amount of vintage Ware, the upper blade plate needs to be polished out better than I was able to do, other than that it's a great looking razor! Please be sure to see All the pictures.

The original Brass and Copper have been cleaned and hand polished but needs a bit more. The top-cap screws and unscrews smoothly as it should into the handle. The blade-guard teeth are absolutely straight. There are NO cracks in the Standard Common Bar
handle. The Gillette markings on the blade-guard base are deep and legible as can be seen in the pictures. The razor has been sanitized using antibacterial soap and is shave-ready. Please be sure to look at all the pictures, also see the pictures posted
