The connection here is that in Europe the farmers have been staging demostrations in several countries about the proposed controls, no more fertilizer.

The Greens are starting along the road to divide and rule between the farmers and the
city folks. Farmers are killing birds so farmers are bad people, then we
ramp things up a notch. History shows us how it is done.

Swarbrick and most of her colleagues don't care about the birds or about the planet in general. They are marxists bent on running the world hidden behind a false green image. They would wear their jackboots in public if they could do so without giving the game away.

Political party press releases are sometimes more speculation than
substance. Another one from the same day:

    https://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/PA2403/S00091/minister-confirms-labours-reduced-ruc-rate-for-phevs.htm
which points out that National were going off track, but were given an opportunity to get slightly less off track - then this release: https://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/PA2403/S00086/minister-confirms-reduced-ruc-rate-for-phevs.htm
pretends that National were looking to be corrected, but also
indicates they still don't really understand the science - they
identify that charges should be based on distance and weight (missing
emissions this time!), but even then they didn't get it right - some
of the all electric vehicles are much heavier than others - road user
charges should be more variable than they were prepared to go, still
the final result is not as bad as if National had not been shamed into recognising they were off track . . .

You are infantile if you think that changing the subject so slyly and deliberately will be do any good.
I think you are deranged or sociopathic, probably the latter.

No change of subject - I think it is good that National (and it was
National this time rather than one of the other Government Parties)
was willing to accept that what they proposed could be improved and
accepted a change put forward from Labour.

There was of course no contempt for famers, as ACT claimed in their
press release, and no attempt to take away property rights, or to
separate farmers from other people. Still they are a small party and
feel they need to make a lot of noise and make up conflicts that do
not exist just to be noticed. On that premise however, I guess you are
probably closer to ACT than to National, Tony - but there is no need
for you to be ashamed of that - just don't expect he majority of the
population to agree with you . . .

Complete change of subject. Start a new thread.

I don't expect that either - you on the other hand do not have a thought in your head that is not driven by your party.
You don't know me but I do know you, I have met and dealt with your like many times - you are clones.
