Anybody remember the (sadly gone) Southward Car Museum in Paraparaumu? I
would always make a point of visiting when I was passing that way.
One of the unique items (among many) they had was a “bubble car” built as
a prop for the Woody Allen movie “Sleeper”, from 1973. I seem to recall seeing two of them in the movie. I think they could actually move under
their own power, though admittedly not very fast.
I wonder what happened to this one when the Museum closed down ...
