An interesting study which has identified a likely instability in
Atlantic Ocean currents. Currently Atlantic current send warm water up
he coast of the US and through to England and Norway; changes to that
current could have dramatic effects on those parts of the world.

I have not seen similar changes predicted for the Pacific, but there
would be some effect. Either way, such dramatic climate changes would
affect the world significantly for the worse.
Climate change carries real risks for further information see: https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/learn-about/weather/oceans/amoc
