The hui was never an attempt to debate or engage with normal New Zealanders. >>It

Looking at the TV news the past few nites it looks all about maori
    sedition and takeover.
If that attempt is made I shall be very sad, there will be a lot of bloodshed. If that happens Ardern is one of those that will be culpable.

Correct. ACTs bill is yet to be introduced so there is nothing to
    debate yet.

It looks like the meeting on Saturday was simply to whip up racist
(anything that might possibly threaten the elite Maori Leaders) angst
at an initiative they perceive is to their disadvantage.

Recently Tony claimed that he did not read blogs with political views
    - this post just proves that he is a liar.

For a bit of balance, here is a slightly different bias: https://nickrockel.substack.com/p/100-pure-luxon

I only read what is in URLs others esnd to me.
And it is not a blog you cretin - it is usually sensible poltical commentary and has in the past been politically balanced - sometimes supporting Labour and criticising Naqtional - but you are unable to understand what political balance is.
I read balanced publications unlike you.

What a bunch of lies and trash politics, no wonder I don't read blogs.

Rich you quote an article hell-bent on challenging Luxon's leadership capability with a passing mention of the Treaty principles legislation
(no acknowledgement of Luxon meeting the Maori King last week) but a
primary focus on Luxon's leadership style. That does not in any way
balance out a website posting on the political fallout from the
planned (but not introduced) Treaty Principles legislation (to set up
a binding referendum). The two are not articles on the same subject
    from a different point-of-view.

Your other mistake is that you don't understand the difference between
a blog and a politically-motivated website. Blogs are usually
controlled by a single author posting at least daily - most notably is
the Kiwiblog blog hosted by DPF. The Basset/Brash/Hide website is not
a blog because it features articles written by multiple authors who
    publish from without schedule.

The fact is that some Maori are not happy that an attempt is being
made to bring the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi into a modern
context, to be debated through the Select Committee process and that a
future Parliament might pass the Bill that results in a binding
referendum. Some see that the whole process (every part of it) will
see said principles established and voted on by the 'tyranny of the
    majority'.
