We must surely refuse to comply.
Why? This appears to be consistent with the effect of actions our
government is encouraging our banks to take.

I don't see any significance in this for NZ unless the Government
expresses an interest.
With so many totalitarian regimes around the world it is difficult to >understand how anything can be done on a world-wide basis.

Why are you opposed to it, Tony? As I understand the personal identity
system here in New Zealand started under National, and was continued
under the Labour-led and Labour governments. If you have had the
experience of becoming a signatory to a bank account you will realise
that there is considerable bureaucracy in a bid to counter fraud; if a
global system can help the least we can do is consider it. I have
asked you why but your only response appears to be abuse and lies. So
I ask again, why must we refuse to comply? If there are good reasons
then I would agree, all I am looking for is those good reasons . . .

In short it is about control. Digital ID is a weapon for control.
Think for
a moment if you get no money from your bank unless you complied, with some >conditions you considered totally uncomplatiable.
Society, a civilised one, needs checks and balances because humans have this >habbit of wanting all the power.
