Seems like the term “technology” is becoming synonymous with things specifically related to “digital electronics” and “computers” and “the
Internet”. Even space/rocket companies don’t seem to count as “tech companies” any more.
Technology covers everything where we decide that what Nature gives us
isn’t good enough, we have to improve on it. That covers even basics like cooking food, and clothing and housing. And of course medical technology.
