    The last government that is.
All of this expenditure with stealth. https://politicalemails.org/messages/1254341
The government should simply fire them all, scrap the plans and then work urgently on a replacement programme that keeps control in the local areas.
No need for that programme to be in place before scrapping the plans - just do it.

Why do you think they have or need a replacement for Three Waters?
\They already have said they would.
They have said they are going to lower water standards
No tghey have not -= that is a lie.
    , but we haven't
heard exactly how - presumably on the basis that a little pollution is
OK for most people - don't most people have a water purifier in their
    house anyway?
Take your sarcasm and shove it.

What replacement programme did you have in mind? - already local
authorities are looking to set rate rises in the 15% to 20% levels to
meet even the lower standards of NactFirst, but that's OK, those costs
will be tax deductible to landlords, and the cost can be passed on to >renters.
Take your sarcasm and shove it.

If National had started discussions with ACT and NZFist earlier of
course they may not be having these problems . . . but worse is that
you appear to be saying they have not prepared any policy to replace
    Three Waters . . .
No I have not - but take your sarcsam and shove it.

I have seen this email before and I believe that the concerns Williams
    has expressed are not valid.

National has absolutely commited to repeal of the water reforms
legislation and separately for removal co-governance.

Provided they do then I shall be happy, meanwhile we need to keep watching.

Why do you think they have or need a replacement for Three Waters?

Because they promised to do so:
    https://www.national.org.nz/100-dayplan
(its there if you look hard enough).

They have said they are going to lower water standards, but we haven't
heard exactly how - presumably on the basis that a little pollution is
OK for most people - don't most people have a water purifier in their

There is a resaon you cannot identify how the Governmnet will lower
water standards. You cannot back up your rhetoric.

What replacement programme did you have in mind?

    https://www.national.org.nz/local_water_done_well

    - already local
authorities are looking to set rate rises in the 15% to 20% levels to
meet even the lower standards of NactFirst, but that's OK, those costs
will be tax deductible to landlords, and the cost can be passed on to >renters.

    More worthless political rhetoric.

If National had started discussions with ACT and NZFist earlier of
course they may not be having these problems . . . but worse is that
you appear to be saying they have not prepared any policy to replace
    Three Waters . . .

They have. See above. Published long ago and supported by both ACT
and NZF in that their respective coalition agreements acknowledge the
    premacy of National's policies.

Rich you really need to do more work at posting credible arguments
against policy initiatives chosen by a combined party votes of
    National, ACT and NZF.

"Replace the National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management 2020
to allow district councils more flexibility in how they meet
environmental limits and seek advice on how to exempt councils
from obligations under the National Policy Statement for Freshwater
Management 2020 as soon as practicable."

So you are correct - they haven't said that replacing standards and
giving more flexibility in meeting environmental limits and seeking
advice on exemptions from water obligations may result in lower
    quality water . . .

Wanna buy a bridge, Tony? Cheap this week? . . ..

No don't get silly and hide the good work Luxon, Willis etc have done
    - do tell us - surely they have some proposals for their replacement

Doing so in a week would be miraculous, for instance the last government failed to dop almost anything of value in 6 years.

They have said they are going to lower water standards
No tghey have not -= that is a lie.

"Replace the National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management 2020
and the National Environmental Standards for Freshwater to better

Which is nothing to do with lowering standards - do get some English comprehension training.

Yes I am correct, they have not said that they will lower standards - why do you believe they have? Oh, yes, your comprehension once more, or lack thereof.

Wanna buy a bridge, Tony? Cheap this week? . . ..
You really are a failure - have you ever succeeded at anything of value in your life?

All completely off topic, so much so that I have removed them for now.

Off topic nonsense removed - this is about water not cost of living.
