• The MoH data leak

From Willy Nilly@21:1/5 to All on Sun Dec 3 22:12:21 2023
As most will be aware, an employee leaked MoH data to an overseas covid-skeptical site ( https://kirschsubstack.com ). The data is
described as being of ~4M vaccination events onto ~2M anonymised
recipients with death dates given for those recipients who
subsequently died (of any cause). The onwards overseas reception has
    been mixed, see e.g.,
    https://www.igor-chudov.com/p/update-nz-whistleblower

My own view is that the data (as described) is too incomplete for
quantifiable analysis of vaccine harm, although Kirsch has squeezed
some poignant signals out of it. Also it is operational data with
unknown data quality issues, although it was evidently good enough to
serve as an ongoing operational MoH database.

What would be really good is if NZ would release the full complete
anonymised data to *prove* that the covid vaccine was "safe and
effective". But of course that will never happen, because it would
    actually prove the opposite.

I'm guessing the leak was timed to the advent of the new government.
But although there are sympathetic people in the new government, it's
too soon to get action for this. The wheels need time to spin first.
"You can't hurry love", as the old song goes.

The way I see this it is just another nail waiting for it to be shown where
    it needs to be placed.

The truth is slowly coming out and there is still a long way to go. Leaks
such as this help to get the truth out. People all over the globe are
    working on this.

The action of not releasing all the data is a guilty verdict, until proven otherwise. History has told us so.

With rare exceptions (national security, terrorism investigations and police matters etc) we are entitled to know what the government is doing, even down to raw data - that principle has been undermined over the years. Time to get it back in place somehow.

Personal privacy should count for something. Let us see what the
charges are. It appears that the analysis of the data has been
significantly flawed - in effect it is a failed attempt to deceive.

    Obviously that is nonsense.
You haven't seen the data and there is no report by any independant person in authority that the data is flawed.
So you are just posting political rhetoric - but no surprise there.
The real story will come out, and when it does we will all be better off for the truth.
