    Also called buyer remorse.

There are always a few after any election

I thought it interesting that a member of a Board should resign
because he was concerned that if he actually gave his views on some
matters there would be a vindictive reaction from government against
the organisation. So much for the "Free Speech" promises from ACT!

Bullshit. The two are totally different.

That is a lie, he resigned because he disagrees with the clearly accurate comment from the deputy PM that accused the media of accepting a bribe.

Nothing to do with ACT or National (whom Sir Ian Taylor has said he
voted for). This article is a tirade against having Winston Peters
(Mr 6%) in government. In turn this is because NZF got just over the
5% threshold. I hold very similar views to Taylor.

Also worth noting that the changes to the Smokefree legislation are
proposed and yet to be acted on. I am sure that when the required
legislation is sent to a select committee we will then have the full
public debate based on exactly what changes are being legislated. This
is where the battle starts in earnest. Taylor would be free to resign
either during the select committee process or immediately after but he
has chosen to make a public spectacle now.
