Let us not attack the author, perhaps just absorb the difference of opinions.

So during the covid lockdowns the earth warmed as the level of CO2 reduced.

Also it seems that we have another factor to take into account to understand the climate.

Yes indeed, it is similar to the EV debate, people driven by politics and/or greed who ignore scientific truth assume they know the answers. Fact - there are more questions than answers and we don't know all the questions yet.

What we do know is that a previous National-led government did sign us
up to an international treaty, under which we are liable to pay
substantial 'penalties' if we do not meet targets. Does money not
    matter to you, Tony?

What we really do know, ignoring your deliberate deception, is that the agreement is not binding.
Money is irrelevant when considering the future of mankind.

That may well be the case - do you have any supporting evidence of
that though? If true, it does not however mean that there would not be
    any consequences from withdrawing.

Money is irrelevant when considering the future of mankind.

Indeed the future of mankind is what National implied they were
signing us up for at the time, and as far as I am aware they have not
resiled from that assertion. I am glad you agree, Tony.

Go away you loser - you stated that there would be consequences - you prove it. I won't do you dirty work.

Your sarcasm is degrading to humanity - you sort out your filth before you complain about anybody else.
