Yes there is - but that is the enthusiasm of an incoming government
intent in meeting public expectations on change with some haste
involving a mini-budget. I hope this works out - but never discount
    the disruptive potential of NZF.

Coalition agreements to be made public once finalised. This is a good thing >as it will tell us what limits, conditions the parties of the coalition
have. It might emphasise that it it is just not a single party Government
but several view point, which is what MMP is supposed to give.
    a combination.

A great idea until one party decides that it is in their best
interests to keep this confidential. I am looking at you NZF - but
also ACT might be at play here. Having said this, both ACT and NZF
have no-where else to go so it is to be hoped that National agree only
to predictable minor concessions to both parties.

We are yet to see how much steel (or lack of it) that Luxon has. It
is my hope that he will lead a government where politically the dog
has control over its wagging tails in respect of both ACT and NZF.

We'll know in 8 days whether NZF is needed or will simply be accommodated for convenience in the coalition. I think this election is going to be different to those past as there will not be a big swing to left parties from special votes, due to the same
broad sentiment that led to a massive hemorrhage of votes from Labour to National. This sentiment will also be in effect on the special votes.
