  • A bit concerning

    Received the Chris Luxon post card flier in the mail box yesterday. It has his/Nationals quarantee that they will do 8 items. Co-goverance repeal is
    not one of them. The other 7 are something that should be in place throught
    all Goverments. Something the people can all agree on.

    The 8th item is "Deliver Net Zero by 2050". This has a tinge of woke in it.

    Also recieved was the local candidate's flier. This was in the normal style
    of elections past. The thing is that this stands out in this election. It is full of how I am a great guy and I can help to get the local area going, and help the country be a great place to live. There was a vision and hope to actually vote for him. And yet it was the same old, same old.

    If the election can not fire up some hope for the voters and show some leadership this country is deserves to be at the bottom of every table of facts.

    This is triple-barrel wrongness:
    (1) Does he mean this cyclone is because of climate change, and
    earlier historical ones were not? Where's the difference?
    (2) So we are "deniers"? Wokeness has this man by the balls.
    (3) perhaps the worst: "to be honest", the trademark statement of the
    habitual liar. It never occurs to habitually truthful people to say
    "to be honest".
