  • Need to tighten up the ship

    This is about Shanan Halbert's relection campagain in Northcote.

    Points out that Labour has built 1700 houses. No at best these are to be completed in 2026, three yeras away and it the end of the next election cycle.

    So what has Labour done? Some houses have been built, 74 (nett). No
    mention on what they plan to do in the next three years. Which this election
    is about.

    Then we have

    "Someone commented on Halbert’s Facebook page that National would decrease sick leave to five days, Halbert replied that was correct.

    It’s not. National has promised to keep sick leave at 10 days."

    To his credit the PM has reprmanded Halbert and several others for spreading mis-information.

    Not on Hosking's show this morning. Hipkins said he knew nothing
    about what Halbert's leaflet and what was in it.

    Not at all a good look. Hipkins has issues he needs to get on top of
    (if he can) and quickly.

    That's an obvious lie. Anyone who has any interest in the politics knew about this. It is beyond credibility that nobody in Hipkins' circle pointed it out to him.

    (if he can) and quickly.
