• Energy Bill

Apologies for this being UK based, however we live in a global world and
this will only be a matter before this lands in/on the Government's mind.

This is from Geoff buys cars channel.

    The intro fron the Bill

"A Bill to make provision about energy production and security and the regulation of the energy market, including provision about the licensing
of carbon dioxide transport and storage; about commercial arrangements
    for industrial carbon capture and storage and for hydrogen production;
about new technology, including low-carbon heat schemes and hydrogen
grid trials; about the Independent System Operator and Planner; about
gas and electricity industry codes; about heat networks; about energy
smart appliances and load control; about the energy performance of
premises; about the resilience of the core fuel sector; about offshore
energy production, including environmental protection, licensing and decommissioning; about the civil nuclear sector, including the Civil
Nuclear Constabulary; and for connected purposes’

    Unquote

But what it all really about is control of the masses.

I'll have to ask ChatGPT to reduce this I think.

The one below gives some more mind blowing provisions in the bill. Mandates have nothing on this.

(Craig does not allow a word in edgewise)

The links in the comments provide further show that people are shocked/horrified/amazed.

    (This one is for Rich)

So in summary, careful who you vote for. It make may little difference at
the end of the day, but it certainly will be worse with the Labour/Green lot
    in power.

It is horrific. The world must get rid of politicians who want to run our lives - Labour NZ would be a terrific start.

This is talking about a Bill being put forward by the Conservative
government in the UK - we know that the National Party maintains a
close relationship with them, and with the Republicans in the USA.
Remember Luxon going to England to consult with Liz Truss over tax
    reforms?

If any government is going to blindly follow the bill being put
forward in the UK it would have to be National - The authoritarian
Nats are most likely to follow the UK and USA, there is nothing to
indicate that Labour (who are more liberal than National would act as
you indicate - if you have any real evidence of the relevance of these
videos to New Zealand do post it . . .
