This was an idea that sounded good to Luxon - so his instincts told
    him it should be compulsory!

He may well have been panicking, but it is strange that he was not
stopped by his minders. The authoritarian right just don't understand
    people.

Seymour must have seen another little slither of National votes
    turning yellow . . ., and Labour would have laughed. . .

If you're looking for examples of real bullying rich. You don't need to go past your Labour/greedy Greens. Hell Labour even gave a plum job to their biggest bully when they gave Mallard the job in Iteland to get him out of the country!
What National is proposing makes a lot more sense than anything you, thepundit and Labour have ever posted!

This one is part of a wider issue. As the article points out some schools
have gone it alone and done something, and now the poltics has gotten
    involved.

Really it is a no brainer, phones distract. After all not allowed when
driving so why not in class.

Most people (adults) have come to terms with phones and face to face being incompatable. It is considered rude answer ones phone while in a meting. Let alone get onto the phone.

National was saying that having phones banned in class would help the tax
payer get value for money and increase the skill of the furture workforce
which would allow NZ to be a great place to live, all the while adding to
    the wealth of the country.

I was pointing out the significance of Luxon going further then
schools restricting use of phones - to the government banning them in
all schools for more than just use in classes. Some schools have done
that, others have decided that fewer restrictions will still produce
the results we want. This was not a new issue, but I regarded it as a
further example of bullying by requiring teachers and schools to act
in a particular way in relation to a common tool - it was an act of authoritarianism that deserved comment given that the private schools initiative led by ACT was supposed to have given good results by using different approaches to teaching by using people that had no
professional education training - but then set them up so that the
biggest effect they had tended to be failing in such a way that
capital assistance stayed with the promoters . . .

I note that you give no references. Bullying has been in the news this
    week - see:
    https://thestandard.org.nz/nationals-very-bad-week/

from which a link is given to the Privileges Committee Report, and
    also to: https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political/496507/national-mp-tim-van-de-molen-stood-down-from-all-portfolios

The cause of the national MP bullying? - he perceived that the agreed
questions for opposition parties was unfair - the numbers according
    to the barrister being:
    National: 33 (15 Brown; 16 Bishop; 2 van de Molen);
    Act: 11 (Court); and
    Labour: 11 (5 Halbert; 2 Boyack; 3 White; 1 Ngobi).

So his problem was really with his own party who had 33 out of 55
questions, with 15 asked by Brown, compared with ACT having 11 and
Labour 11 - apparently it was very unfair of labour to give 60% of the questions to National, and 88% to opposition parties!

So Luxon of course sat on his hands until the process was completed - apparently he had not been told of the incident when it happened -
such is the concern the Nats have for dealing with such incidents.

Bullying? perhaps Labour not so much . . .

This was an idea that sounded good to Luxon - so his instincts told
    him it should be compulsory!

He may well have been panicking, but it is strange that he was not >> >> >>> stopped by his minders. The authoritarian right just don't understand
    people.

This one is part of a wider issue. As the article points out some schools
have gone it alone and done something, and now the poltics has gotten
    involved.

Really it is a no brainer, phones distract. After all not allowed when
driving so why not in class.

Most people (adults) have come to terms with phones and face to face being
incompatable. It is considered rude answer ones phone while in a meting. Let
    alone get onto the phone.

National was saying that having phones banned in class would help the tax
payer get value for money and increase the skill of the furture workforce
which would allow NZ to be a great place to live, all the while adding to
    the wealth of the country.

I was pointing out the significance of Luxon going further then
schools restricting use of phones - to the government banning them in >> >> >all schools for more than just use in classes. Some schools have done >> >> >that, others have decided that fewer restrictions will still produce >> >> >the results we want. This was not a new issue, but I regarded it as a >> >> >further example of bullying by requiring teachers and schools to act >> >> >in a particular way in relation to a common tool - it was an act of >> >> >authoritarianism that deserved comment given that the private schools >> >> >initiative led by ACT was supposed to have given good results by using
different approaches to teaching by using people that had no
professional education training - but then set them up so that the
biggest effect they had tended to be failing in such a way that
capital assistance stayed with the promoters . . .

Less authoritarian than the mandates and forced behaviour that this government
has imposed for the past 3 years.

Love the way Rich is forever forgetting Labours history of bullying. So typical of lying Marxists everywhere....
I note that you give no references.

Links only needed for the imbeciles who ignore the results of a Labour report on bullying in parliament after Sharma blew the whistle. You also ignore the many times that Mallard bullied innocent people right up to his violent reaction to people
protesting against Labours breech of the NZ bill of rights last year!
Bullying has been in the news this
    week - see:
    https://thestandard.org.nz/nationals-very-bad-week/

Won't bother with their biased rant thank you Rich. It's bad enough your bias.

from which a link is given to the Privileges Committee Report, and
    also to:
    https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political/496507/national-mp-tim-van-de-molen-stood-down-from-all-portfolios

The cause of the national MP bullying? - he perceived that the agreed
questions for opposition parties was unfair - the numbers according
    to the barrister being:
    National: 33 (15 Brown; 16 Bishop; 2 van de Molen);
    Act: 11 (Court); and
    Labour: 11 (5 Halbert; 2 Boyack; 3 White; 1 Ngobi).

So his problem was really with his own party who had 33 out of 55
questions, with 15 asked by Brown, compared with ACT having 11 and
Labour 11 - apparently it was very unfair of labour to give 60% of the
questions to National, and 88% to opposition parties!

Do stop being stupider than normal. Take of your rose tinted glasses you happily wear when Labours bullying surfaces and try to keep your politicized crap to a minimum!

So Luxon of course sat on his hands until the process was completed -
apparently he had not been told of the incident when it happened -
such is the concern the Nats have for dealing with such incidents.

What utter bollocks! Luxon stood down the MP.
No he didn't. He removed him from being spokesperson for a couple of
things, but he has stayed on the list for the election.

He stood him down from the portfolio's he was responsible for!

He didn't screw around like hipkins who did nothing when two of his MPs were done by the committee.
They were removed from being Cabinet Ministers and are not standing in
    the election.
Only to the two most recent Ministers who kept stuffing up for months before showing just how useless they were. Other ministers who ignored cabinet manal rules are still ministers and standing in the election. People like the left horrible Megan Wood
    for example!

A fact that as usual you ignore! Luxon showed much better leadership than we've seen from this government since Winston gave them the job! :)
    Rubbish - see above.

Not rubbish! Your practice of deliberately ignoring Labours slow response to bullying and malfeasance is well known! Labour have a culture of bullying that you've always ignored like the nasty little left whinge lying troll you are Rich!

Bullying? perhaps Labour not so much . . .

Don't be sillier than usual Rich! As usual you ignore the elephant in the Labour bullying room! You also forget the report Labour commissioned about bullying in parliament and it's results!

But guess you being the left wing defender you claim you aren't it doesn't surprise anyone in the ng!

Seymour must have seen another little slither of National votes
    turning yellow . . ., and Labour would have laughed. . .
